Original artwork is etched on a plate and rolled with 20 gauge sterling silver. The pressure of rolling the silver and the etched plate between the steel rollers creates the image on the sterling. The finish is a heat patina which is waxed to preserve color. All the pieces in this album are necklaces on 18" linen cord with a sterling clasp. The necklaces are fabricated by me and are limited in quantity. The imagery here appears somewhat brighter and more contrasty than the actual piece. New artwork is introduced and other pieces retired as I follow the heartflow.

"Heart Angel" When worn it is almost over the heart and so creates the hand of protection on the chest. The torso of the angel is meant to have a bony anatomical feel.

"keep moving"   Evolve expand create and respond have long been my personal mission statement. To keep moving has meant to keep evolving for me. At just the minimum all the new scenery alone is a thrill.

" skeleton mermaid " From the " fossils of the witch " series. All the women were once blue mermaids of the sea. As time passed some of the women came onto the land, but others remained in the sea. The merwomen that remained in the sea made jewelry and many kinds of amulets that contained the old wisdom These gifts were often left on shrine rocks for the land women so they would never loose the "ways".

My creativity is focused on the lessons I need to learn and with the hope that another will find the threads and seeds in this work to weave and sow into their own path and journey.

I imagined and dreamt the Brookianico Witches. They have sent me the imagery of the necklaces. Their story will continue to be revealed through other pieces and images.
